Lymphatic filariasis, being an age-old disease, has a great impact on the Indian socio-economic pattern. The book "Lymphatic Filariasis, Homoeopathic approach" is a unique attempt by Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) and will help the readers understand the disease.

It contains the historical background, epidemiology, social impact of lymphatic filariasis. The pathogenesis and pathology of the disease are well described with wonderful pictures and figures. The clinical features, both of acute as well as of chronic stage, of lymphatic filariasis are written in detail with series of diagnosis, cellular assays, sero-diagnosis, molecular diagnosis, etc., The definition of disease management should be remembered by the students as well as by the practitioners in the field of Homoeopathy. The chapters on "Management" and "Prevention and Control" will help with the rational approach towards this disease.

The pivot of this monograph is Homoeopathic concept of lymphatic filariasis, which reflects the approach of stalwarts of homoeopathy to this disease. Topics like homoeopathic approach, homoeopathic concept of prevention, curative and palliative approaches in the management of lymphatic filariasis are very informative.

The last chapter of the book concentrates on the Research in Homoeopathy on lymphatic filariasis by CCRH and other researchers.
